The Professor Ricky Ray has been putting on a clinic just about every time hes been on the field in 2013. Nike Air Max China Wholesale Paypal . Im loving watching this guy go out there and nonchalantly dismantle defence after defence and effortlessly complete ball after ball after ball. Rays unmatched accuracy (77.2 percent completion rate and 21 touchdown passes to only two interceptions in 2013) is extremely rare. Ive called many of his games when hes torching defences and I cant emphasize it enough for fans to take notice and enjoy it while they can. Quarterbacks like Ray come around but every half century or so...rare indeed! Whats giving this pulse-less and pure passing quarterback a chance to succeed even more than usual is he is matched with a coach, Scott Milanovich, that gets it; he himself having been there before. Its like the perfect storm: a head coach that has played the position before equipped with a tremendous offensive scheme coupled with, in my opinion, the most accurate pure passer the CFL has ever seen!Know this, when you are on top of your game as a quarterback, theres nothing a defence can show you, throw at you, or do to you that you dont have an answer for offensively. Its a state or level we all try to achieve and get to. When you do, or if you do, you just hope that your physical skills are still at a premium level so you can maximize the knowledge you have. Thats when you are hitting on all cylinders and truly a general on the field of play. I try and explain it to people like this: when you are in that zone I just described, you are connecting all the dots before the ball is even snapped, meaning you already know where you are going with the football before the play starts. The formation, pre-snap motion, positioning of each and every defender and their reactions only verify what you already know. Its now just getting the ball in your hands and using your eyes in order to expand a hole for a receiver or move a defender just a bit more, and then you plant your back foot and - with great confidence, timing, and accuracy - you trust your eyes and pull the trigger! Ray does this more consistently than anyone else in the league, period! The video tells you as much, just about every play hes on the field; like the old saying goes, “The eye in the sky never lies.” You can see the prior preparation coming into play: the experience, the talent, and the recognition. When it does, now you are throwing with confidence and spotting the football. Pitching and catching! Another guy that comes to mind that is pure and as prepared as Ray is a guy named Peyton Manning. You see him connect the dots dont you? Well thats what Ray is doing, and hes doing it with only 20 seconds every play or half the time Manning gets! Impressive, I know! Now Im not saying that hes unstoppable, Im just telling you hes extremely rare. My good friend and colleague Gord Miller once told me, “Having a good quarterback does not guarantee that you are going to win, but not having one guarantees you wont.” Enjoy folks, because this guy is special and hes in that ZONE. The Argos have developed a really nice alternative to the three-time Grey Cup winner in Zach Collaros. Zach has showed us all that there are several ways to be successful at quarterback. Young, talented and extremely mobile are just a few of his positive attributes. Two other strengths are his creativity when the initial structure of a play breaks down and his resilience. You think this guys down and out and he gets up off the canvas and starts to dominate and find a way to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. The quarterbacking carousel and talent pool does not stop there for the Argonauts. We have had a chance to see Trevor Harris a little this season and got a glimpse of Mitchell Gale as well. Both these young quarterbacks have the skill set to be successful in this league. Their hurdles and struggles are finding the opportunity to prove it. The Eastern Final between the Argos and Hamilton Tiger-Cats is surprisingly rare. In fact, its the first time since 1986. But thats not as rare as the Argos Ricky Ray. Go down to the Rogers Centre this Sunday, buy a ticket and watch this guy connect the dots! Vapormax 2019 Discount . The 22-year-old Spanish midfielder recently signed a new three-year contract with Chelsea, and after spending last season on loan with Valencia in La Liga, Romeu will move to the Bundesliga for the 2014-15 campaign. Nike Air Max 97 Factory Outlet . The Wizards gave up two seldom-used players — forward Jan Vesely and point guard Eric Maynor. Vesely goes to the Nuggets, while Maynor gets shipped to the 76ers. Philadelphia receives two second-round draft picks, one from the Wizards in 2015 and one from the Nuggets in 2016. http://www.brandshoescheaponline.com/ . Not Peyton Manning. Hes holding on to the heartache to stoke his competitive fire.Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Randy Bullock converted a franchise-record six field goals while Arian Foster threw a touchdown pass as the Houston Texans downed the Baltimore Ravens, 25-13, in Week 16 action. Case Keenum passed for 185 yards and was picked off once after completing 20- of-42 passes to record his first career win as a starter for the Texans (8-7), who guaranteed themselves at least a .500 season with their third win in the last four. Nothings guaranteed, but at least our last game means something, said Texans head coach Bill OBrien about his clubs slim postseason hopes. That was just a great team effort ... I give a lot of credit to our players and coaching staff. It was a great win for us. Foster also racked up a game-high 96 yards rushing on 25 attempts while C.J. Fiedorowicz was the beneficiary of his scoring throw. Andre Johnson totaled 65 yards on six catches and reached the 1,000-reception plateau. Joe Flacco had one of his worst days as a professional, completing only 21 of his 50 passes for 195 yards, two touchdowns to Torrey Smith and three interceptions for the Ravens (9-6), who had a two-game win streak snapped. We got our (butts) kicked, plain and simple, Flacco said. They brought a ton of pressure up the middle and we never got into a groove. We didnt play well and all wer can do is worry about ourselves. Baltimore needs a win next week at home against Cleveland and some help in order to snag a wild-card berth. Steve Smith picked up 49 yards on five grabs, while Justin Forsett was held to 19 yards on 10 carries. Having been blanked in the first half, a 45-yard punt return from Jacoby Jones plus an illegal block above the waist penalty on the Texans gave the Ravens the ball on the Texans 9 early in the third, and Flacco found Torrey Smith for an 8-yard score. Later in the quarter, Keenum had a fumble reversed by replay on 3rd down, and on the next snap following a punt, Kareem Jacckson stepped in front of another Flacco pass and returned it to the Baltimore 19. Nike Air Max 90 China Wholesale Paypal. Bullock pushed his fourth field goal through from 20 yards away for a 19-7 game. Bullock was true from 39 yards away in the opening seconds of the fourth, and after the Ravens turned the ball over on downs just across midfield, Bullock made a 33-yarder for an 18-point margin. Torrey Smiths dive for the near-right pylon from 20 yards out was good with 5:56 left and the Ravens got to 25-13. Flacco, however, was sacked on the 2-point conversion attempt. Flacco was sacked on 4th down to conclude Baltimores next series and the Texans ran all but two plays worth of time off the clock to seal the outcome. Bullocks 35-yard try was good to cap the games opening drive, and he connected once more, from 25 yards out, on the first snap of the second quarter. A.J. Bouye picked off Flacco inside of five minutes to play in the half, and the Texans set up on the Ravens 16-yard line. Houstons offense stalled and Bullock connected from 30 yards away for a 9-0 game. Flacco was intercepted by Jackson only two plays later and the hosts had possession on Baltimores 19. On the first play after the two-minute warning, Foster took a pitch on the right side and threw it into the end zone for Fiedorowiczs first career TD catch and a 16-0 score. Game Notes Johnson became the 10th player in NFL history to reach 1,000 receptions with a catch early in the second quarter, and the second-fastest to attain the mark (168 games) with only Marvin Harrison (167) having done so quicker ... Texans defensive end J.J. Watt set a new franchise record with his 54th career sack when he brought down Flacco late in the fourth ... Flacco was 3-of-18 for 27 yards and two interceptions in the first half ... Ravens tackle Rick Wagner left the game early in the fourth and did not return thanks to a foot injury. ' ' ' |
