Wigan winger Lewis Tierney is one of 10 uncapped players in the Scotland squad for the Ladbrokes Four Nations Series. Packers Super Bowl Jerseys . The 21-year-old is joined by Huddersfield half-back Ryan Brierley and Castleford forward Frankie Mariano in Steve McCormacks 24-man squad. Watch NOW TV Watch Sky Sports for £6.99 - no contract Brierley could renew his club half-back partnership with Scotland captain Danny Brough in the absence of Australian-born Peter Wallace, the Penrith and former Brisbane Broncos scrum-half who is ruled out with an elbow injury. The Scots suffered another blow with the loss of Huddersfield centre Joe Wardle after he damaged a knee playing for his club in the Super 8s Qualifiers. Tierney, a member of Wigans victorious Grand Final team, will be vying with incumbent Dave Scott, of Batley, Warringtons Matty Russell and North Queensland Cowboys Lachlan Coote for the full-back role.Coote, who was in the Cowboys team that won the World Club Challenge this year, is joined by club-mate Kane Linnett, St George Illawarra three-quarter Euan Aitken and Australian-born youngsters Tyler Cassel, 21, and Sheldon Powe-Hobbs, 24, who are yet to make their NRL debuts. Matty Russell (centre) is also hoping to taste success with the Scots Mariano, who was born in Hull with roots in Cape Verde and Scotland, makes the squad having missed two previous tournaments through injury. After a week at Heriot-Watts new state-of-the-art Oriam Performance Centre, Scotland move on to Barrow on Friday, October 21, to play a warm-up game against a Cumbrian Select XIII in Liam Harrisons Testimonial match before setting up camp in Preston ahead of their opening game against Australia at Hull KR a week later.Scotland squad for Ladbrokes Four Nations (professional club shown in brackets) Addy (Bradford), E Aitkin (St George Illawarra), R Brierley (Huddersfield), S Brooks (Widnes), D Brough (Huddersfield, capt), T Cassel (Wests Tigers), L Coote (North Queensland), L Douglas (Gold Coast Titans), D Ferguson (Bradford), B Hellewell (London Broncos), L Hood (Leigh), B Kavanagh (Bradford), K Linnett (North Queensland), R Maneely (Halifax), F Mariano (Castleford), B McConnachie (Ipswich Jets), K Moran (Hull KR), B Phillips (Workington), C Phillips (Workington), S Powe-Hobbs (Northern Pride), M Russell (Warrington), L Tierney (Wigan), D Scott (Batley), A Walker (Hull KR).You can watch Englands tour of Bangladesh, plus Premier League football and the British Masters on Sky Sports. The jewel in the Flat racing crown takes place in Berkshire this week, with five magnificent days racing at Royal Ascot. Heres a little look at some of the horses I will be following over the coming days...ThursdayAscot Gold Cup - latest prices here! The banker for many people at the meeting will be Order of St George and theres no doubt hell be the worst result for the bookies. Hes not exactly bred to stay 2m4f, but is trained by Aidan OBrien and could potentially be another Yeats. If hes too short for you, you could do worse than have a saver on either Mizzou for Luca Cumani or Max Dynamite for Willie Mullins. The former was seventh in this last year and returned with a win in the Sagaro Stakes at Ascot over two miles. He should strip fitter for that after a long autumn/winter break which appears to have done him good. There are no problems with the trip for him and he has won five of his nine races. As for Max Dynamite, he was well fancied when just beaten in the Melbourne Cup and although he was disappointing on his first run since then in Henry II Stakes at Sandown, it would be no surprise to see him bounce back. Alexs Thursday preview FridayCommonwealth Cup - latest prices here! This three-year-old Group One sprint looks a cracker. Acapulco heads the market but shes also in the Kings Stand and that five furlongs might suit her better. Quiet Reflection is one of the runners that I like for Karl Burke. She was the impressive winner of the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock under former jump jockey Dougie Costello. If the ground happens to come up soft she would run in Kings Stand. She has loads of speed. Another I like is Gifted Master for Hugo Palmers upwardly-mobile yard. He was unbeaten from last summer until the Sandy Lane Stakes when finishing third behind Quiet Reflection. He stays a mile and seven furlongs may be his best trip, so a real test over this six furlongs loooks ideal. Dexter Williams Super Bowl Jersey. Coronation StakesIm pretty strong on Nemoralia for Jeremy Noseda in this. She has some strong form Stateside last season including a third place in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. She started her season at Yorks Dante meeting where she won a Listed race over a mile easily. That was her prep for this and she is also Grade One-placed on dirt in the USA so very versatile. She has been pleasing her trainer in the run-up to this meeting. Alexs Friday and Saturday preview SaturdayDiamond Jubilee Stakes - latest prices here!Again, I have another strong fancy in this race. I like Magical Memory for Charlie Hills. He has won the Abernant and Duke of York this term, has loads of speed and travels very well. Theres no doubt hes an improving sprinter. He would benefit if the ground is quick as many of the protagonists dont want fast ground. Those comments apply to Henry Candys Twilight Son, who wouldnt want ground faster than good at Ascot. He was behind Magical Memory at York, but isnt to be written off as that will have knocked off any rustiness. On easy ground he would be a strong selection, but will he get his ground? From the same stable, Limato would be interesting if he is dropped back in trip to run here.Wokingham StakesThis is a pin-stickers race! However, I quite like Brando from the Kevin Ryan yard. I fancied this horse when he was second to Duke Of Firenze over five furlongs at York recently and it looks like there should be more to come from this progressive sprinter. A word of caution though, he wouldnt want quick ground. You could also do worse than back Huntsmans Close from the Roger Charlton stable. This horse put in a better effort at Goodwood last time and likes to come off strong pace, which he will get here.
